I love you! I love you more! I love you most!

God: I love you!
Me: I love you more!
God: I love you MOST!

Do you ever feel like you are having this same conversation with God? Maybe not in the same words, but, along the same lines?
You feel God’s love and receive his graces and gifts that he is CONSTANTLY pouring down on you and you suddenly feel obligated to throw your talents, sacrifices, and love back at God.  This isn’t a BAD thing to do, it’s actually a VERY good thing to do.  You always want to be giving God your best and try to find new ways to love Him and show His love to others! 🙂 But, there’s one problem… God is NEVER outdone! The more you give Him the more He pours down in return! The more you say “I love you more!” The more He insists and backs up the fact that He does and WILL always “love you most!”  In the bible there is only ONE place that God asks you to put Him to the test!
Malachi 3:10 says:
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.”
So, in light of these holy words, I challenge you guys to PUT GOD TO THE TEST!  If you ever get scared that God is asking too much of you and that you will never gain it back or that you will be miserable because of it.  Just remember, God has promised to “open the windows of heaven for you and to pour blessings down upon you until you overflow with His blessings and love”.  You NEVER have to be scared that you will out give God, cause, remember, God loves you! And you MAY think that you are loving Him more, but God, being the jealous type and never one to be outdone will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS show you that He, indeed, LOVES YOU MOST!
May God Bless you abundantly now and always!

Well done, Ellen! I am putting God to the test myself…and having to step outside my comfort zone and my box to do it. But I trust Him, and He has never failed me yet. Love to all our Heberts ~
